Gosh, good looking and a craftsman. :D

I have a question, where did you learn your craft? And where do you execute it? It's not like metal can be heated and formed in a cooking pot. xD

Haha, this old photo lacks beard...

Well, I'm mostly self taught in these things, books are great source for techniques, but only "try and fail" really taughts. I also studied three years in crafts and design section in vocational college few years ago, but I had made these crafts before that too. School's workshop was great place to make these things, and I was pretty free to study those techiques I were interested about. Nowadays I have my own small workshop where I make these. True that you need good tools and space to make such crafts, even though leather working and such can be done in living room : P

Sorry it sounds a bit dumb. I'm just wondering because I never met an oldfashioned smith and wonder where you find people to teach you that. My design teachers are former gold smiths, but I'm not sure if that is comparable? And with where I meant did you just buy your own "atelier" plus oven? Like made yourself independent.
