Thanks. Yes, chainmail is also self made. That kind of butted mail is really easy to make, but in original european ones the rings were riveted so that they will not open easily. Ive been planning to replace that aventail with riveted one, but I have not yet achieved to make that (maybe never..)

I've seen some designs of chainmails on wikipedia once, they seemed really hard to concieve, good luck to do it !
