historically double bladed axes were not favored for war but i do see potential in it if you forge the blades thin like a dane axe. weight is the main consideration in that cus it needs to be manouvrable but if youd make it light and fast a double blades axe could add to the cutting oportunities
I've said this before, not to you of course, but on the axe... the hardest thing to define when designing the head vs. the handle is the amount of wood passing through the head. This axe has a sturdy handle and a nice head, but the point where they meet seems weak. In a throwing exercise, the head would or could bust free leaving you with a stick. (Considering I watch variuos other axe designers, you have a better product than most.)
I use axes or other self made tools daily, and Im well aware of that thing. Anyway, that one is just soft decorating axe, not meant for throwing or anything else.
